As directed by a manager or Curriculum Team Leader, you will deliver high quality, learner focused vocational training up to level 3 standards, meeting contractual requirements and Awarding Body standards in line with policies and procedures. You will plan, organise and deliver a vocational competency based curriculum and develop lesson plans; working collaboratively with Functional Skills Tutors/Learning Support Practitioners to support literacy, numeracy and language skills within the programme. You must ensure the accurate maintenance of learner records, complete documents related to accreditation, funding and compliance in a timely manner and participate in professional development.

Emphasis is placed on trainers working in partnership with prison and probation colleagues to create a cohesive learning journey that improves employability and contributes to the reduction of re-offending.

Candidates for this role will need to have substantial vocational subject specific experience together with a commitment to gain, if you do not already hold, subject specific Level 3 qualification.
You will also hold relevant teaching qualifications (PTLLS, A1 Assessors (D32 TDLB Unit)) or be willing to work towards these within a specific timeframe.

To be considered for the role of Health &amp; Safety consultant, ideally you will be minimum Tech IOSH and hold the NEBOSH General or construction for this role. If you are RMaPS then this would be highly desirable, although not essential.
